For hotel managers
One report, one room, one quiet hand-off
A guest's report reaches the front desk first. What happens in the next hour decides whether it stays one room. This is the order we work in.
You call or text the room number and floor
We hold the room, and the rooms beside, above and below it
A technician inspects at the arrival window we agree on
You get one written report, addressed to you

From the report
When a guest reports a room
- 01
Step 1: The report
The front desk takes the room number and the floor, not the guest's name, and puts the room out of order.
- 02
Step 2: The call back
A person at our office calls back within an hour between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., and sets the arrival window.
- 03
Step 3: The inspection
We inspect the reported room, then the rooms on each side and above and below, and note what we find in each.
- 04
Step 4: The treatment
If we find activity, we treat by the method the report names. We tell you which areas stay closed and for how long.
- 05
Step 5: The follow-up
We return to inspect at the interval on the report, and the room stays out of inventory until you release it.
What you receive
Paperwork for the owner and the brand
A report for each room
What we looked at, what we found, the method and the date the room may return.
A map of the rooms we checked
The reported room and its neighbors, so the next report starts from a record.
A follow-up schedule
The dates of each return visit, in the same report.
Certificates on request
License and insurance for your risk manager, sent to the address you give.
A report documents what we found and did. It is not a guarantee against a later guest bringing bed bugs in.
Questions
Questions from hotel managers
How long is a room out of order?
It depends on the method, the number of rooms and what the inspection finds. The plan states the time before any work starts, and the report says when the room may return.
Do you treat the whole property?
No. We inspect the reported room, the rooms beside, above and below it, and anything else the inspection points to. A report is a recommendation, and you decide the scope.
Does the report satisfy an insurer or a brand audit?
The report documents what we found and what we did. It is not a guarantee, and whether it meets a particular insurer's or brand's standard is for them to say.
What do you need from us on the first call?
The room number, the floor, when it was reported and the next check-in. No guest names. If you can text a photo of what was found, send it to the same number.
Have a room reported?
Call or text the room number and floor. A person calls back within an hour between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
