Bed bug response · Las Vegas

A bed bug report, handled quietly.

For hotel managers and short-term rental hosts. We inspect the room, treat what we find, and tell you in writing when it can go back on sale.

  • One hour

    Call back, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., every day
  • Plain van

No lettering, no logo on the crew

The room turn

A checklist housekeeping can follow

We send this with the confirmation, before anyone opens the door. It keeps the room, and the problem, where it is.

  • Before we arrive

The front desk and housekeeping do four things and nothing more.

    • Mark the room out of order and assign no one to it

    • Leave the bed, linens and drapes as the guest left them

    • Don't vacuum, spray or carry linens down the hall

    • Give us the room number and floor, never the guest's name

  • In the room

We work from the bed outward, then check the rooms on each side.

    • Inspect the bed, headboard, nightstands and luggage rack

    • Check the walls and floor shared with the rooms beside, above and below

    • Treat what we find, and name the method in the report

    • Bag and move nothing until we say it can move

  • Before it goes back on sale

The room stays out of order until you have read the report.

    • We re-inspect at the interval written on the report

    • The report goes to the manager you name, and no one else

    • Linens return only after the room is released in writing

    • A new guest can bring bed bugs in, so we leave a monitoring note

Every room and every method is different. The report for your room says what applies.

The inspection

Where we look first

A bed bug report starts with the bed, and the walls and furniture within an arm's reach of it.

A made bed with white linens and green pillows against a dark green headboard, in a quiet bedroom
  1. 1

Headboard and the wall behind it

Where the frame meets the wall, and the back of the board if it lifts off.

  2. 2

Mattress seams and the box spring

Piping, tags and the seam along the foot of the bed, with the mattress turned.

  3. 3

    Nightstand and lamp base

Drawer joints, the underside, and anything stored in or beneath it.

  4. 4

    Window frame, sill and blinds

The sill, the frame and any drapery track above the bed, where fabric folds against a wall.

  5. 5

    Baseboard along the bed wall

The gap where the baseboard meets the floor, followed along the wall to the next room.

Discretion

Nobody at the front desk needs to know

A guest's room number is not for the lobby, and a property's name is not for its neighbors. We plan each visit so the work happens behind the scenes.

  • Our van carries no lettering and our crew wears plain navy polos with no logo

  • We enter by the service door and ask for the manager by name, not the front desk

  • Reports go to the manager or owner you name, and no one else gets a copy

  • We don't discuss a room, a guest or a property with anyone outside the booking

  • Texts use the room number only, never a guest's name

Questions

What managers and hosts ask first

How long is a room out of order?

It depends on the method, the number of rooms and what the inspection finds. The plan states the time before any work starts, and the report says when the room may return.

Do you treat the whole property?

No. We inspect the reported room, the rooms beside, above and below it, and anything else the inspection points to. A report is a recommendation, and you decide the scope.

Can you come at night?

Our hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. A text sent after 10 p.m. is answered at 6 a.m., and we don't schedule rooms for the middle of the night.

Do guests have to move their belongings?

A guest in the room is the manager's call, not ours. We can inspect a vacant room first. If a guest has moved, we ask that nothing leave the room until we've looked.

Is your product safe for the next guest?

We can't call any product safe. Licensed applicators follow the label, we tell you which areas stay closed and for how long, and we send our product list before the visit.

Will one visit be enough?

Usually not on its own. Bed bugs vary by room and by method, so every plan includes a follow-up inspection, and the report says what happens if we find activity again.
